Liquid Dosing System
A liquid dosing system, often called a chemical feed system, adds a precise amount of liquid into a process stream. TiERMAX compact units pair a polyethylene or stainless day tank with a diaphragm metering pump, suction lance, agitator, valves and controls on one frame, ready to connect.
Drive options include solenoid, stepper-motor and three-phase motor pumps. Control can be manual, 4–20 mA, pulse, or fieldbus such as PROFIBUS or PROFINET, so the system follows a flow meter, pH or ORP signal, or your plant PLC. Single-layer, multi-layer and piston-diaphragm displacers give the right level of leak protection for each chemical. Typical U.S. uses include sodium hypochlorite and caustic feed, coagulant and corrosion-inhibitor dosing, boiler water treatment and CIP chemical addition.

Modular Chemical Feed Skids With Short Lead Times
The entire series is built from standardized modules, like a kit. Each system is assembled and pre-wired for your application, so it ships quickly and installs with minimal field work. Three pump series combine with tank sizes from about 10 gallons (40 L) with a simple solenoid pump up to about 265 gallons (1,000 L) with a motor-driven diaphragm pump, electric agitator and full safety package.

Safety Features for Hazardous Chemicals
Options include secondary containment or drip trays, level switches and continuous level measurement, leak detection, pressure relief valves, back-pressure valves and pulsation dampers. Wetted materials such as PVC, PVDF, PP and 316 stainless steel are selected to match the chemical, concentration and temperature.

Frequently Asked : Questions
A liquid dosing system introduces a defined quantity of liquid or chemical into a process. It can include metering pumps, day tanks, valves, piping, instruments, controls and safety equipment, and it keeps process conditions and product quality consistent.
Systems handle a wide range of process chemicals, including corrosive, viscous or abrasive media. Pumps, seals, piping and wetted materials are chosen for the chemical, concentration, temperature, viscosity and operating conditions.
Liquid dosing systems serve chemical processing, power generation, municipal and industrial water treatment, metal finishing, pulp and paper, textiles and food and beverage. Typical duties include pH adjustment, disinfection, catalyst and additive feed, and boiler and cooling water treatment.
Yes. The modular design adapts to available space, existing piping, process connections and control systems, so retrofits need minimal changes to the surrounding plant.
Yes. Batch systems deliver set quantities on a production sequence. Continuous systems feed chemical in proportion to flow, level, pressure, pH or another process signal.
Accuracy starts with choosing and sizing the right metering pump for flow and pressure. Flow measurement, pressure monitoring, pulsation dampers and automatic controls then keep dosing repeatable as conditions change.
Options include secondary containment, level monitoring, pressure instruments, leak detection, relief valves, shut-off valves and automatic alarms or shutdowns. Correct material selection is also essential for hazardous or corrosive chemicals.
Yes. Capacity, pressure, chemical, environment, footprint and control requirements all shape the design. Pumps, tanks, instruments, piping and electrical components can be supplied as a complete skid-mounted system.
