Solid-Liquid Separation Sieve

Continuous Liquid Screening for Cleaner Liquids and Lower Costs

A solid-liquid separation sieve is a vibratory screener that continuously removes suspended solids from a liquid stream. Liquid passes through a fine mesh while solids travel across the screen and discharge separately. You get a cleaner liquid, recovered solids that can often be reused, and protection for pumps, valves, centrifuges and heat exchangers.

Typical U.S. applications include fruit pulp removal in juice, whey and dairy screening, potato and wheat starch filtration, process water recycling in food plants and industrial laundries, spirulina harvesting, biodigestate treatment, ceramic slip and paint screening, and wash water recycling. Sanitary 304 or 316 stainless construction and quick screen access make cleaning simple.

Frequently Asked Questions

It is a vibratory screening machine that separates suspended solids from liquids, recovering valuable solids and producing a cleaner liquid for reuse, further processing or discharge.

Vibration and a fine mesh let the liquid pass through while retained solids move across the screen and discharge separately, continuously and with little operator attention.

Food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, wastewater, ceramics, mining, recycling, pulp and paper, and metal processing.

Slurries, wastewater, juices, sauces, dairy products, process water, chemicals, paints, ceramic slip, metalworking fluids and other liquids containing solids.

Better liquid quality, solids recovery, less waste, lower disposal cost, equipment protection and higher efficiency.

Yes. Machines are built for continuous, high-flow duty. Sizing depends on flow rate in gpm, solids content and product characteristics.

It depends on solids particle size, required liquid clarity, viscosity and throughput. Testing confirms the best screen.

Yes. With the right screen and configuration, many viscous products such as sauces, syrups, coatings and slurries screen reliably.

Yes. Stainless construction, quick-release clamps and easy screen access make cleaning and inspection fast.

Consider the liquid, solids content and size, viscosity, flow rate, clarity target, materials of construction, hygiene and space. Product trials help confirm the solution.
