Dedusting Sieve
Remove Dust and Fines for a Cleaner, Free-Flowing Product
A dedusting sieve is a vibratory screener that takes out dust and undersize fines from granules and pellets, while the on-size product passes over the screen untouched. Removing fines makes the product look better in the bag, flow and meter more consistently, and cake less in storage. It also cuts dust exposure in packaging and protects downstream fillers and conveyors.
Typical U.S. applications include fertilizer and turf granules, granulated sugar and salt crystals, roasted coffee beans, pet food kibble, seeds and nuts, wood pellets, rubber crumb, plastic regrind and chemical granules. Sanitary stainless construction, quick screen access and flexible mounting let the sieve run continuously in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, mineral, plastics and battery-material lines.
Dedusting Sieve - Models
Dedusting sieves come in one-deck vibratory and tumbler versions for different capacities and products, from precise fines removal at moderate rates to gentle, high-capacity dedusting of bulk materials.
One deck Dedusting sieve
The one-deck vibratory dedusting sieve removes fines at moderate capacity while keeping product flow steady. Three-dimensional vibration gives accurate separation at up to about 3.3 short tons/h (3 t/h), depending on the material.
Tumbler Dedusting sieve
The tumbler dedusting sieve gently removes fines at high capacity while protecting fragile granules. Its large screening area suits coffee beans, fertilizer, recycled materials and other high-volume bulk products.

Frequently Asked Questions
A dedusting sieve is a vibratory screening machine that removes dust and fine particles from powders and granules while keeping the on-size product.
Controlled vibration and a selected mesh let fines pass through the screen while the acceptable product travels over it to the next step.
Dedusting gives a more consistent product, less airborne dust, better flow, less fouling of equipment and a cleaner, safer plant.
Food, pharmaceutical, chemical, plastics, battery-material, mineral, ceramics, recycling and metal powder plants.
Sugar, salt, coffee, spices, plastic granules, fertilizer, chemicals, minerals, metal powders, pigments and ceramics.
Better quality, less dust, higher efficiency, better flow, less waste and protection for downstream equipment.
Yes. Advanced vibration and mesh cleaning handle fine or cohesive materials and reduce blinding.
It depends on product characteristics, particle size distribution, throughput, target fines removal, layout and hygiene needs. We recommend product testing.
Yes. Dedusting sieves are often added after milling, drying, conveying, blending or granulation, before packaging.
A dedusting sieve removes only unwanted fines. A classification sieve divides product into two or more defined size fractions.
